This cottage has so many memories there is no way to post them all. Beautiful views and endless starry nights. The yearly Simcoe stampede has become a tradition that every Larin cousin looks forward to with great anticipation. The warm water of Lake Simcoe is amazing on a hot summers day. Only an hour or so outside of Toronto! But don’t buy it because then I’ll have nowhere to escape the city!

You are sure to enjoy this one of a kind cottage. Spacious with lots of bedrooms, large brick wood burning fireplace with a coal barbecue. My mom use to make pancakes on the grill every weekend and baked potatoes at night. The cottage is secluded with a large cedar hedge surronding the property. Great neighbours. This cottage is for a family looking for endless gorgeous sunsets and wonderful memories. Fran
This cottage is in our hearts and will be deeply missed. I believe the time we spent together here made us the loving family we are. Any given weekend up at the cottage gifted lifetime memories, whether it was uncle johnny playing the guitar in his toga, swimming down at the lake always knowing there was a watchful eye on you, dancing, laughing or outlasting the sun down at the dock with everyone you love. What started with a family of seven grew to the point where I was shocked how many people could fit in one place. We wouldn’t have had it any other way, as we like to say GET TO KNOW US. This cottage built a family and is a gift for whoever is lucky enough to have it next.

Wow! What memories I have of this magical place. I started coming to the Larin cottage (our cottage) as a child of six. I learned about winter, spring and fall changes with my sisters and brothers, as I explored the north so close to Toronto. The endless summer days seemed to roll in and out with laughter and love in a place I knew was filled with fun and family. I learned how to swim, play volleyball, read for enjoyment, reflect, socialize and so much more. How peaceful and secure this cottage living made me feel as I grew up.
I soon was a teenager and next a young adult. Throughout our family continued to share the cottage with all those close. My school friends and cousins really loved it up here. I remember laughter and musical parties with accordians, guitar playing and singing. I also remember special quiet moments, sitting on our long dock watching the sunset and wishing to be no where else. Thanks mom and dad for keeping me near.
Time passed and my children have had the opportunity to grow up here close to their extended family as well. Happily enough they have similar memories and I hear some of their own. Words really can not express the experience. What a treasure!
